This is a narrative of my recent trip to Norway.  It runs 30 pages.  It's the literary equivalent of someone making you watch his vacation slides.  Hope you like it. :)

Before we left we made a trip up to the Nordkapp stopping at Tromso, Bodo, Hammerfest, Bergen and Trondheim as we hopped along the coast.

We couldn't fit the whole of southern Norway into our schedule.  We also couldn't get up to North Cape.  We'll have to go  back.

Dav,

Thanks for posting. I spent a few of my teenage years (83-86) living in Stavanger.  I remember my Dad complaining at how expensive it was to live there as well. I would order a Solo (an orange soda) and it would cost twice as much as his beer. I used to love exploring the many bunkers along the coast left over from the German occupation.  At the airport in Stavanger the Norwegian Air Force still parked their planes in the revetments used by the Luftwaffe (or at least they did back when I lived there).  Good times...
