Unfortunately, there are a lot of different variables, and the solution you found on that website you found will probably only work for some.

It is good you got to watch it, and I hope you liked it. I have yet to watch the next episode, it was on the other night and I missed it, so the iplayer will have to be used.

Iplayer works for me. Show starts with CAPT Alex Rawlings retirement paperwork and covers Sangin base. However it is not an easy process and every computer is different.  For most users I suspect the hassle to get it to work is not worth the effort. The website below does not have all the answers but it is a start, one must research their operating system, browser, anti-virus, ect. Plus I suspect any solution does not work for long as these loop holes get closed.

I read the instructions, and I see what you mean. I find these sort of instructions are fine, as long as they work. Nothing worse than going through a lengthy process only to find it does not work.

So Robert...are you going to try and get the BBCi player to work? Would be interesting to see if it does work.

How to watch BBC iPlayer shows outside the UK

Search for that blog title for instructions, however it is crazy we have to resort to using the same technology Chinese have to use to defeat Red Chinese Internet censorship...
