Punching Guderian's Blitzkrieg II - UPDATED

Punching Task Complete. Now to play the game. Setting it up now. 

After admiring the box for almost a year, I finally got down to punching out the counters for GBII. These are only the Soviet counters.

Just do it!! 

Guderian's panzers obliterated the weak Soviet forces holding the rivers and are now in the Soviet rear. I need to alter the move as a friend of mine reminded me that Guderian's forces get an extra 1/3 of their movement allowance for getting an early start.

You are a brave man Anthony. A game with more than 1000 counters is a NO NO for me (there maybe the odd exception), but to clip 2800 of them!

I never clip, not unless it is absolutely necessary.

I can't seem to leave any counter unclipped. Its like a bad habit or something.

These were cheaper than the prism cases. I'm game for the first scenario but it does not seem to be in the vassal module. If you have it, send me a file and we'll play.

Looking Good Tony. You ever wanna play Scenario 1 give me a push.

I use a clearer tray that allows a slightly different seperation of the counters.

They reserved red for the NKVD. I guess because it is the color of blood.

Kev, I have already done some vassal playing. I started the campaign with a friend but we got derailed early. I'm not sure which scenario yet. It will be something that does not require all 6 maps. I don't quite have the room for that on my current table. 

Ania, I was speaking of the GBII box. The plastic box looks much better when filled although it does not look so good when I'm putting these thousands of counters out to set them up. :)

Punching is not too bad. Clipping 2800 counters, that's a different story. I'll leave them unclipped.
