The Germans were able to pull back behind the Orne River, while the Canadians pushed even farther towards the south.  By coming within 6 hexes of a bridge crossing on the Dives, the 86th Korps was added to the chit pile.  The 272 division and the GUF units were put in play and moved down to help open the escape route.  The Germans must continue to pull back as quickly as possible but in an orderly fashion.

The US 19th Corps has some slow going through the bocage (it costs the Allies 2 mp's each to move while it only costs the Germans 1 mp to move through bocage).  My plan is for the 7th US Corps to move east along the road leading to Argentan, cross the Orne, and apply pressure to the Germans by rushing to link up with the Canadians.  The US 19th Corps will move along the road to Fromentel and then cross the Orne there.

The Allies just have to keep as many German units in the pocket as possible, and watch out for the 86th Korps force coming down from the north.  And as soon as Argentan falls, the better!
