In my just-released episode 7 of The Board Game Show podcast, I un-box B-29 Superfortress by Legion Wargames:

In the late 80’s I hovered over an imaginary bomber crew and conducted make-believe, yet mostly historical missions over WWII Germany. My heart raced as ME 109s and FW 190’s strafed my flying fortress. I worried about the fate of my crew – each of them personally named – as I conducted mission after mission.

Now I am a stay-at-home dad with some disposable income, time, and nostalgia for those missions over Germany. B-17, Queen of Skies by Avalon Hill still sits on my shelf, has accumulated some dust, but the memories remain. When I learned that someone had created a B-29 version of B-17, I didn’t hesitate buy it...
