I was wondering what people set up to play this week with the 75th anniversary of D-Day so very much in the news.

After some consideration I passed over Conflict Games’ Overlord for LnL:T Heroes of Normandy, especially the “Flash,Thunder” scenario which gives a good solitaire game.

I'm surprised about SPR being so under watched. I see you have two of my bucket list games by NES.

Nice job, Chris.  Very cool of you to do this.

Hey Wayne. Just finished marking my essays and I'm off for my seasonal period of unemployment, if you know what I mean....

Next year will be my last. Then it'll be a good old clean out of the game closet before we move from the Silly-Con Valley.

D-Day...Lunch-n-Learn for our Corporate Staff.  Very attentive group of young folks who asked many great questions.  Like, Why Normandy?  Why did we wait until 1944?  I also showed a few clips from Saving Private Ryan.  Was surprised that less than half of the folks present had ever seen the movie.

I set out most of my D-Day games on the table in my War Room for this shot.  Ended up playing some Normandy 44 solitaire in the days leading up to D-Day.  Then on D-Day itself, I took my games into the office and gave a Lunch-n-Learn class to our staff on D-Day.  Many young folks only vaguely new about D-Day so it was time well spent.

Sadly not time right now! I certainly picked up several games and am looking forward to at least doing Normandy '44 next weekend. We are in final exams next week and my schedule opens up for the summer.I could game this all summer and not get tired.
