thank you Scott, and glad to see you on CSW. Right now I am editing my video for Thunderstone: Dragonspire for BGG, but after this fantasy break I'll be back to historical wargames. Next down the pipeline is the video for an obscure French game about Richard III... I hope I can help giving it some more visibility!!
Best,

Marco

Try tank - it was one of our first words. I used to think my 22 year old when a baby was the best air guard I could have had for my Armor platoon....

Got my two year old to say "hex map" and "counter" but we're still working on "infantry"....

I realized the other day that I have the perfect wargamer/military history buff wife--she was born in Waterloo (IA) on June 18th....

Scott, are you going to Spring Recruits? I missed SM as we are at Ft Hood.

Looking forward to seeing you at MM

Went to Spring Maneuvers in Lawrence, KS yesterday (only made the morning session--was feeling a bit rocky in the afternoon/evening). Played in a game of DVG's Modern Naval Battles--think we messed up some rules, but had a good time. Watched in amazement as the Soviets/Russians delivered a massive Backfire strike on the American fleet (I was Taiwan, hoping they wouldn't notice me!) in the first Russian turn, wiping out all but one ship. (Needless to say, the Russkies won the game, more than tripling my score).

Next is a one-on-one Saturday playing through as many of the rest of the Conflict of Heroes firefights as we can get through, then hopefully a beginner's game of ASKSK at March Madness in KC.

I had access to this social site up until a week ago, then lost it. Figure some overachiever killed access.

Dan Best and I have copies of the rule book and SK's, so before you go ordering and paying shipping etc. Check with us and maybe we'll have it at a price you like. I try to keep ASLSK's on hand for newcomers since MMP can't seem to keep them in stock.

Hello Scott,

I lost access to this page at work, so sorry for the delayed response.

You can come and play on any day and we'll have beginners to top players available. We always have someone who is ready and willing to teach and play either ASL or ASLSK.

The SK tourny on Sat is really full of beginners,, or those who have been out for awhile.

So come any day and play.
