You are just upset that I drove the Protestants back to 0 points on the first turn!

You know ... this "everyone loves Kaarin" thing is getting really old.

I like Kaarin, too, but I'm really thinking I might start the "I can't stand that Engelmann woman" movement, just to go against the grain.

Well I'm jealous. somewhat. I've not yet made it to Europe to do any tours of the battlefields there after all this time I've spent studying and gaming out battles there from WWII. It's a great photo though.

Hi Kaarin! Christin and I had a great time at Prezcon (it was her first gaming convention). Many thanks to you and the rest of the GM/convention staff -- you folks really make that convention tick. We're both looking forward to the Congress this fall!

I like the hat. It is similar to my "Indiana Jones" hat.

Definitely had a great time at PrezCon. A couple of highlights were taking 2nd in Here I Stand--the three games I played obsessed me enough that I came home and got into a PBeM version :) I also played in a meat grinder version of Circus Maximus--winning with a chariot team with the swift speed of "5". The dogs of Rome rejoiced with all the carnage!

Hi Kaarin, great to see you onboard here as well! Hope you had a great PrezCon! (as if I have to "hope" you did!) ;-)

I believe it's at Altun Ha in Belize. I love to travel--some of our best trips used wargame maps as the basis for the tour. Wandering Market Garden, the Bulge, Maginot Line forts, Marathon and such and playing a related wargame helps me remember more about and understand the geographical and historical context.

Okay, I'm curious.

Where were you visiting in that photo of you. Looks interesting. :)

Hi Kaarin (really with two a's? ;-) ),

seems that we can open a women & wargaming group here on the network soon :-)

I'd like to see more women in the Hobby because they usually have a very strategical mind so these games just fit. Roll Low!
