Hi Frederic,
I´m a catalan living in China.
Have you ever thought to do a game about ancient China for Vae Victis magazine? Something more strategical than CH de bataille Asian.
Happy to meet you in Consimworld.

Hi Fred,

Glad to be on your favorites list. That is a beautiful photo (or if it is a movie it is only a still photo for me). It looks like a big palace. What is the name of it? I had a dream that I was living in Paris, at 33, rue du Faubourg. I have no idea why I would invent such a detail. When I looked it up on the web I found this...

"The Cercle de l'Union interalliée is an exclusive social and dining club established in 1917 at No. 33 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris"

Frederic -

My mother wrote back. Here is what she had to say about her town -

During WW II our little village in France was called Nissan. Later on the town became known as Nissan-lez-Enserune, maybe 35 years ago.

Then Nissan was located in the departement e l Herault,
region du Languedoc. Now they use zip code au lieu de departement name.

Frederic -thanks for the reply. I will check the link out. I will get back to you with the town where my mother is from. I cannot spell it and want to be sure it's right. I will have it for you tomorrow. Currently all my relatives but one live in the Paris area. I also have uncle in Barcelona, Spain.

Frederic - does the Historie et Collections and Quatuor have any books available on "Operation Nordwind" the German counteroffensive in Alsace-Lorriane in Jan. 1945. My grandfather's US division fought in that campaign and ended up capturing Saarbrucken in March 1945.

On a side note my mother is French. I have numeous relatives living in and around Paris.

Unfortunately I cannot read or write in French... :-(

But a de Gaulle would be worth doing. Tell me when you wish to start, then we will start thinking deep.

I like the de Gaulle game suggestion. Would you be interested in trying to do something together?
