My first two board wargames were SPI's Napoleon at Waterloo and Barbarossa, both purchased around 1972.
Your favorite game(s):
SPI’s Turning Point: Stalingrad, Destruction of Army Group Center, The Moscow Campaign, Kursk, Napoleon’s Last Battles, Bill Banks' Ancients, DG's Battles of the Ancient World (especially Teutoburger Wald), AH’s Caesar, The Battle of Alesia, The Russian Campaign.
What game(s) are you currently playing (solitaire, FTF, PBEM, etc.) or wish to play next?
Forlorn Struggles by High Flying Dice Games.
What game(s) have you played recently?
Into the Pocket by Tiny Battle Publishing, Baiting the Bear by High Flying Dice Games and a 25mm miniatures game set in 1880’s Tonkin using TMWWBK.
In general, how much time do you spend gaming?
A couple hours a week.
How big is your game collection?
About 100 board wargames and 10,000 painted miniatures.

Indeed, I am a Marine--retired after 29 years in 2010 and am now a professor of strategy and operational art for the U.S. Army at their Command and General Staff College, working at the Fort Lee Satellite Campus.  Great place to be for quality of life and in the thick of Civil War battlefields!  Tons of wargame opponents and opportunities here as well.
