Your introduction to consim gaming:
Around age 13 with Avalon Hill's Bulge, Blitzkrieg, Afrika Korps, Guadalcanal. First game played earlier than that was chess which I really drove opponents away in droves by beating them, sad to say. The best I got to in tournament chess was around 1750 fide rating, and then tournament stuff drove me away from it. I couldn't stand the unsportsmanlike behavior of some percentage of players at tournaments. I found it rather unreasonable and tiresome, preferring friendly but competitive games.
Your favorite game(s):
Bulge titles A44, DBW, Iron Tide, Ardennes Offensive; others, France 1940, Invasion America, Panzergruppe Guderian, Battle for Germany, Barbarossa, Fire in the Sky, VG Civil War, many others

Presently undergoing a major job related period of gaming abstinence (obviously not by choice) because of longer hours and limitations on transportation.

Tell me about it, I'm wasting a perfectly good Sunday morning installing sp2 on my client's webservers...

I only used the kitty picture because I couldn't find the really handsome one of me. And after searching for some time, I'm beginning to wonder if there is such a picture.

Hey! Just talking about you today, as my wife and I drove by the evil, mechanical rabbits of Dublin, OH. :)

Also, picked up a copy of Ardennes '44 -- from SOUTH KOREA!! Punched with the C3I stuff, but cheap. Have to learn how to play it some day! (My memory is that you are the one who recommended it to me last year.)
