Great! If you haven't see the pic of the painted map, try here on BGG: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/291869

We've got Charlie Kibler back as our map artist and he's doing a fantastic job. All of the Basic Game scenarios (7 at current count) are in playtesting. A nice variety of scenarios in the mix. I'm planning to open these scenarios up to a larger playtest group soon. And we're busily working on the Advanced Game rules now.

I've had the pleasure of tooling around with one of Ed's new designs ... and I think the 'flavor' of the game could very well match or exceed Here I Stand.

Something about gamers and farm animals seems to bring about the best in consimer.

LotR musical was very "interesting" ... in all meanings of that word. Some of the performances (especially Galadriel and dancing hobbits) were amazing; others pretty bad (Gandalf and Boromir with a Scottish brogue you could cut with a knife). But we definitely found it a fun experience, especially if you laughed at the bad while admiring the good.

Was the LotR musical any good? I've heard mixed reviews...
