Hi ,
It's called WarFor2 - a sort of abstract build and battle turn based game. I wouldn't mind some comments on the trial, before I release it.

Not sure I understand. Is the order of battle, map, etc. fixed? One or two player?
Lots of maps to choose from. (2 in the trial version) You start with a certain number of counters representing industrial bases and units, according to the scenario. Then you mine resources to make more bases that produce units of a given design, which also consumes resources. You choose the design of the units yourself during play - maybe something cheap to mass produce, or maybe something more powerful - according to tactical and strategic circumstance at the time.Your units you move around and atttack with in a fairly normal manner - all actions occur in one big 'phase' as it were. It's almost all easy play - drag and drop. It's two player - hotseat or file exchange - hotseat only in the trial. The trial version doesn't have sea hexes or optional rules either.

I have found that non wargamers have quite taken to it, because it is very direct to play, and there are lots of alternative tactics and strategies ... I am hoping that grognards like it too! THe zip file is about 4 mb, if you're interested ...
My website is now up - www.mapperleygames.com

You can look at the game help manual there, and see some of the features.
Update: The website now has a downloadable trial version.
This looks interesting - but can you tell us the system requirements? I could not find any indication of these on your website.
Windows 98/XP/VIsta; DirectX; that's about it really. Nothing fancy at all!

I would be grateful for any comments. Also , if anyone would like to trial the full version, let me know...
Okay, thanks!
