Hi, I'm currently learning the rules for Cobra, The Normandy campaign by Decision Games. I hope someone can help with a few questions I have as follows:

1) 17.3.2 Allied Landing Phase > Step 4 Beach Defence: I understand this section pretty well however I have a minor query regarding the location of German units at start. It seems odd that there are few German units in proximity to the beach hexes so opportunities are slim to attack units. Am I right in assuming that any units actually adjacent to an occupied beach hex rather than 2 hex distant can attack that beach unit? Plus can these attacks continue as long as there are Allied units in beach hexes in future turns? I'm assuming so!

2} Rule: 5:2 Mechanized Units:In case (h) of the this rule it states that unbridged Dives River hexsides from A4101 to A4106 inclusive, may not be crossed by mechanized units. Looking at this on map A the Dives River extends further than A4106 reaching the hexside A4306/A4307 before it becomes a minor river. Should the rule state A4106 to A4306?

3) Strange that there are no artillery units included! I'm disappointed as I can't ride into battle with my late Father who served in the Royal Artillery attached to the Canadians and fought at this battle for the Falaise Gap.

Thanks in advance for any help and guidance,
