Just received from Noble Knight (great company for used games-very accurate descriptions) Vol 1 and Vol 2 of the GWAS volumes first editions. Med and Baltic/North Sea. My question is do I need to grab a copy of 2nd edition rules? I can pick up the current starter game Pacific Crossroads for around $30. Is it worth it? Working on a solitaire system for Cruiser Wars. Anybody else playing the game? If you have it I would love to attempt a PBEM effort.
Curt:
I'm interested if you still have space.

Remember the Maine! (To Hell with Spain!)
Anyone else have it yet? Who wants to try out an operational scenario pbem using the Stolins/Stear Excel spreadsheet search program as "virtual umpire?"
I would be interested in giving it a try. I live near Ellicott City. A couple of friends and I are currently playing a WW2 campaign using War at Sea miniatures rules to handle the battles. Here is the link: http://wascampaign.blogspot.com/
Anyone going to Cold Wars?
I'm looking for some new opponents in the Columbia, MD area. I've read the rules but want to start playing the series. Please email me if you're interested in getting together, games/modules interested in playing, and timeframes/days that work. Thanks!
