welcome aboard joe!bearded fireplugs get half price on beer, so you have come to the right place! lol i'm glad you found opponents for pbem-i'm trying to set up a listing in the forum but have not heard back yet from consim., but yea i would like to have a "bulletin board" situation where ppl can find pbem/vassal etc. opponents.

I'm glad I joined this group. I already have 5 Stalingrad and 2 Waterloo games going at once. The photo I chose is from 1976 when I won the SPI Blue & Grey Quad tournament in 1976 at Origins. Now I look like a fireplug with no hair on top but still have the beard.

Which General in the Napoleonic Wars are you?
Mikhail Kutuzov
Mikhail Kutuzov quiz
You are Prince Mikhail Illarionovich Golenishchev-Kutuzov. You are a the very embodiment of the fierce Russian spirit that drove Napoleon from the freezing soils of Mother Russia. Although you prefer to engage the enemy in glorius pitched battle, you also know when to withdraw. This is due to the fact that you value your army more than you value territory, knowing that a piece of land is useless without the people defending it.

the AV CLASSICS-d-day,bulge 65,waterloo,AK,spi's nap at wat ,AXIS UND ALLIES,RISK are THE beer@pretzels games.STALINGRAD CAN BE PLAYED ON THE AMOUNT OF BEER THAT WOULD NOTGIVE YOU A DUI.-SAY 2-4 BEERS. i include also panzerblitz as beer @pretzels,as long as players are experienced(with drinking AND the rules)

Well, that knocks out the AH "Classics" for me, Wittman. But COMBAT COMMANDER? I'm so in there...bring me that Yuengling!

Let me see--what else can I play after a 6 pack? SPI's NAPOLEON AT WATERLOO. A number of those old SPI Folio Games like BATTLE FOR GERMANY and WW I. Am sure there are others, I just have to think of them....
