Like my C&C games. Prefer to play by Vassal on laptop. No problem with space or wife wanting me to clean up all the time!!.

Running a CCN tournament at Recon in Orlando, FL April 26.

Command & Colors Napoleonics

Tournament #5

Sat 9 AM

Round Robin will start promptly at 9AM and be three games of Russian scenario

EYLAU PLATEAU RUSSIAN REARGUARD (7 FEBRUARY 1807)

against three randomly selected opponents.  Good luck with your Mother Russia rolls!

• Each game will be allotted a 10 minute set up time.

• Each game will be played to a STRICT 1 hour time limit.

• When time is called, the current turn for both players can be finished.

For tournament #5 we will have a Russian trophy and a French trophy.  Really, this time separate trophies.  Each player will play either Russian OR French in all 3 scenarios.

Russian and French victory is based on Total Victory Banners captured + 1 Victory Banner per win.  First tiebreaker is Total Victory Banners Lost. Second tiebreak is a Die roll.

I'll be running a C&C:N game at Conquest-Pacificon on Labor Day weekend in the South Bay Area (San Jose/Santa Clara). It's at 4:00 on Friday. The scenario will be  Eylau 1807 using the C&C:N 1.0 scenario and the current GMT rules with the Russian nationality traits (generously provided by Mr. Borg).  I'll be using 15mm miniatures and Kalistra hex terrain.

Feel free to stop by and play a round.....

Yahoo forum for CCN on VASSAL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CCNapoleonics_Vassal/

U.S. and German players. Forum hosted on Yahoo Germany, so using Goggle Translate or Google Chrome helps. They run VASSAL tournaments, but I am sure you can post for a game.

@Chuck- Havent heard any rumors about a computer version. 2 different companies so not likely to happen.

@Lawrence- What time zone are you in and what days you looking to play? That might help find people

looking to play this via vassal until i can find a local opponent with the same limited  hours as me. What do i need to play on vassal effectively, i.e. mic , software. I am very new to the whole vassal bit, and want to learn just don't want to waste other peoples time. Thanks

I look forward to playing this game as soon as it arrives!  Anyone know if there will be a computer version like Memoir'44?  I kind of doubt it now that I think of it being a GMT game.  It would be nice if it could be done for Ancients and CCN!

Currently playing all of the scenarios as a "campaign" via VASSAL. Love the game!
