I just wanted to take a moment to mention that Bill Gibbs, who owned Omega Games and lived in Valrico Florida, passed away, apparently last July.  Some years ago, I was doing research on historical strategy in the Burma theater and Bill graciously invited me to his home to teach me the mechanics of WWII board games to use as a tool in my research.  He was a great guy, and had a wonderful family that treated me like we'd know each other for much longer than we had, simply because we shared the common interest of board games and were both Army veterans.  Bill and I stayed in touch sporadically and we had recently discussed him doing a custom game for a sci-fi film I'm making not long before he passed.  Somehow I missed that he had passed (we had no friends in common) and I was somewhat shocked to discover it when I tried to contact him as he was such a vibrant and active guy.  See you in Valhalla Bill.  "Rangers Lead The Way!"

We also play miniatures as well. Battleground WW2 primarily. Have loads of stuff. Jeff Baumal's group also meets once a month on a Saturday right  off of St Rd 84 once a month SMG is their group. If you want contact forward your email address and I will have Jeff contact you.

Hello everyone, I'll be spending winters down in Cape Coral and was wondering if there were any wargamers nearby.  I play most any wargame that focuses more on simulation than game, ASL is good, while Axis and Allies is not.  (though ASL is admittedly a love/hate relationship at times).  Miniatures gamer as well, Fireball Forward, Fistful of Tows, Bolt Action, I Ain't Been Shot Mum, etc...

Hello All.  Getting back into the hobby after lurking for many years.  Live on Merritt Island, work in Orlando on DoD Simulations.  Favorite games are VG - Fleet Series, GDW - Third World War, FASA - Star Trek Combat Simulator and Renegade Legion.

Been playing a lot of Twilight War and Labyrinth through ACTS.

Going to Savannah 5-7 Sep.
