Could not the 1959 scenario be one?

Has there been any thought about developing a tournament scenario for this game? It would need to be 2-3 hours for tournament play.

I look forward to see what you can do with Ici (be sure to download the latest living rules at Legion). Will you do something on Tonkin also?

Savage war of peace was a great inspiration to me when I designed Ici. Todd, be sure to download the latest living rules before you play: http://www.legionwargames.com/legion_ici_cest_la_france.html

Totally agree on ASWoP.  Alistair Horne is a fantastic writer on French military history, but this is an excellent single volume treatment.

This is my next game.  I am reading A Savage War of Peace Algeria 1954-1962 by Alistair Horne.  This book is a must read.

Ici now has a ranking! According to the Geek rating Ici has the wargame rank of 493. Not too bad to start with (BGG adds 100 votes of 5,5). But according to the average rating which only counts the players' votes, then Ici has the rank (and only counting those games that have at least 30 votes) of 19!! Which is great!

Thanks again!

CSR Awards voting has started for the 2009 games. May I humbly suggest "Ici, c'est la France!"
