Comment by Bill Wood on February 17, 2010 at 3:02pm: Two members of the Eden War Room crowd are going to PrezCon 23rd - 27th and we are meeting Kirby there. Ima going to participate in the Wellington tourney; Stuart is doing VITP and Afrika Korps as well.

Hoping to find some gaming teachers for stuff I have yet to play - Washington's War (picking it up at PrezCon), Wilderness War, GMT Monmouth, and Pursuit of Glory.

We have put up Case Blue EATG - Vern is out of action for the next 9 months, and we put away War Between the States.

Practice aplenty with Wellington, and Thursday will see some VITP and AK play with me, Stuart and Chuck.

Regardless of interests or like/dislike of CSW (what's not to like?) it has to be in everyones best interest to be aware of their fellow gamers and goings on. I get tired of seeing Triangle Gamers getting together and communicating over the net (dice envy).
What is the war room address in Eden? That can make a 15-25 minute difference in drive time.
I did play with Vernon - he was Russian in north, I was southern commander - another was center - we whooped on the Central Powers (probably had much to do with first time playing than skill - at least on my part)

The Galicia campaign is what I would like to try first.

I have played two battles in ULB and Edgehill from TACW.

The M&P battles are quite fun - moderate wristage - none of it wasteful.

I bought the first 3 or 4 volumes and then finally played my first game against a live opponent - my impression was way-y-y too much wristage - but I've been thinking it may have been me and I should give the series another shot.

My monster gaming has been exclusively East Front - either WW1 or 2 (considering that WWII operational is not my thing -I am not sure why) Played an Army Group N, C, S combo and then 1914 TitE. TiTE is a wonderful game on the Whitaker meter.

War between the States is for Thursdays.

We have been playing a lot of Wellington to get ready for a tourney at PrezCon.

I think I will next try to get Liberty Roads up - but Wacht am Rhein II, Hell's Highway, and so many others await. I would like to do some Musket and Pike as well.

Comment by Bill Wood on February 10, 2010 at 6:27pm: Sometimes up to 6 - usually 3-4 of us. Lately, it has been just 3 on Thursday night and 2 on Saturday. Winter schedules and one of us, Vernon Robinson, is suddenly busy handling campaigns for Republicans.
