One of my all time favorite games on this topic was published by GDW and entitled ROAD TO THE RHINE. There aren't many titles dedicated to this particular topic. The only competitor I know of to the GDW game is ATO's 2006 Annual, TOPPLING THE REICH. S&T did a "double game" issue in #233--DAGGER THRUSTS: PATTON OR MONTGOMERY, SEPT 1944, where you could refight MARKET-GARDEN or imagine you had those supplies for Patton's Third Army and go east! Regarding some of the individual battles, there is DRIVE ON METZ (a beginner game recently republished), REMAGEN (SPI and then FGA--neither one very good), OPERATION GRENADE (SPI game on the Roer Dams), AACHEN (People's Wargames), PIERCING THE REICH (Moments in History, also about Aachen), OBJECTIVE SCHMIDT (The Gamers' TCS tactical game on part of the Hurtgen Forest fight around Schmidt and Vossenack). There are others I've missed. What are your favorites?

SPIs Pattons third army is quite an OK game. SPIs Op Grenade is a continous torment for the German player but it is not unlikely that he will win the game (but both players might be equally surprised by that.)
Road to the Rhine. I had a good experience with this game. A youngster and I played an experienced gamer (he as Germans) and we won the race with an early Arnhem thrust. More a game than simulation but with a large area to fight over made for a great game to play.
