Connection problems with ZunTzu

I can't use ZunTzu for online gaming. If I try to be a HOST, it seems there is something wrong, and no one can connect with me. Also if I try to connect with other people, it's rejected as timeout…Continue

Creating Game Box 12 Replies

I'm having trouble getting a game-box I've created to work.  I've created a couple in the past and have been using a working game-box as a model.  Still no joy.  Maybe I'm having trouble using WinRar…Continue

I think I was rather clever using tabs and terrains. Setup SPI Dark Ages and looking at the first scenario I was thinking how I could replicate the terrain for the Battle of Tours 732. Looking at a map of Creasy's 15 Decisive Battles I realized I needed to rotate the map. I thought wow why not make the whole map a terrain.

Good news.  The Zun Tzu site is back online.  It looks unchanged except the forum is not working yet and the game boxes are not back.  The site says - "The game boxes for ZunTzu will be back soon."  The installation looks like it works.

Deleted an earlier comment, wanted to rephrase it. Reading earlier posts I am just amazed how you guys were able to patch the program together. I don't get the impression that the developer was a collaborative type of person, actually might even be a bit upset you got the program to work. My opinion we are lucky with what we have.

Awesome Steven!

Thanks for doing this Otto.  A friend of mine has been asking for just such a document so he can start learning to create gameboxes.  I will send it on to him and maybe as we work through his questions we can make this something of a living document.

Got a rough version of my ZunTzu notes together. Often I had just copied and pasted questions to Jerome and his answers from the ZunTzu website forum. Needs a lot more editing but I was getting bored wanting to get back to working on some game boxes or studying some rules. Feel free to add any input or other information I missed and I will slowly keep editing the file :)

Thank you Gary Anderson!! Got ZunTzu working like a charm on my new win10 computer!!! Love this program, I had made extensive notes on developing gameboxes before the website went down. Trying to edit them so someone else could understand them. I am so happy!! well as much as possible with how things are in the world.

Appreciate whatever you can do John to contact the developer and bring Zun Tzu back!  I would be willing to help out with development if there is a need.

Micael and I just tested out ZT's synchronous play capability and it still works!  I am pretty excited about that.

Steven and I just managed to get ZT running synchronously!  Thanks again Gary.
