Has anyone manged to stay close to 1941 German historical advances? Take Kaunas on turn 2 in AGN? Break the Soviets in AGS and cross the Dnepr on or around when the Germans did?
Hoping this series gets more interest--I just started learning it and decided to make videos chronicling my progress, teaching as I go.
I now have in my possession the entire EFS series....why I dont know. It just happened.
I've read the designer notes, skimmed the CSW folders seeing various issues here and there.
I have a couple of higher level questions after seeing the linking notes for AGC/S, I wonder if any others have done any linking work on AGN/C, and the other titles?
IF one were to include Typhoon & KtR/Crimea, the current scenarios really only run for between 28 and 47 turns, which would lead close to the beginning of Typhoon, from what I recall.
Would one simply continue with Supply feeds and counter mix thru to say Dec 31st? to play a linked campaign?
KtR/Crimea kicks off later in '41, I imagine that there are units cross represented there as well? So some homework on reinforcement cards would be required.
Unit transfers across AGB would be either self researched or play as is past the published scenario dates?
Do any aficionados have a view on how to create a manageable campaign for all the titles and VC's?
I understand there is talk of a reprint/republish of this series, would that include linking rules, transfers and play thru end of 41/early '42?
Afternoon all I just received my copy of Barbarossa: Crimea. It is up to the usual high standards of GMT I have not started breaking apart the pieces and playing but it does look real good.
