A play by play account using Scenario 1 of Picket Duty has been posted. I didn't fair well. Ohka wrecked my stern and I had to leave my assigned picket station at the end of phase 2. Japanese earned a victory. Click here to read the account!
Latest items for Picket Duty sent out to playtesters.
Todd, finishing up on tweaked rules and final map. Should be sending out to playtesters by Wednesday afternoon. Try Scenario 2 once you getthe updated files.
Bill,
Just finished with Scenario 1. Took on 5 planes with no real problems. Should I go on with Scenario 2?
Thank you,
Todd
Thank you, Steve. Have a good one.
Just sent you a hi-res jpeg of map via my gmail address.
Todd, I will upload a high res to skdgaming.com later tonight once Thanksgiving is on the wind down.
Steve, hello and Happy Thanksgiving. I would love to get a copy of the playing board. I know it might be a big file, but I am ready to go, but just need a good copy of the board. Thank you.
Here is the beginning of the AAR I had promised (Play by Play) using the final rules. I am using scenario 1 that will be included in the game: Scenario One.pdf
Instead of the one phase called for in the scenario, I will play three phases, which is one game turn. Since land radar is not used in this scenario, I will not use it in the example.
I have some free time this coming weekend, so will post an AAR for one turn of Picket Duty with the what will most likely be the final rules. This should be posted by Monday afternoon on the 12th of November.
