Your introduction to consim gaming:
Love all traditional Military Historical Wargaming. Especially World in Flames (ADG) World at War (GMT) ATEO (Decision Games) and Europa My all time favorite is War Between the States and VGs The Civil War. Will . Have a bunch of others as well. Live in the Elgin. IL area. Belong to Eagles game club. Stated plying wargames in the mid to late 60s. Tactics II, Gettysburg,Stalingrad ,Milton Bradley stuff Battlecry Hit the Beach stratego etc. I was about 8 years old when I started war gaming. it is in my blood I guess.

War Between the States, First to Fight, Paths of Glory, War at Sea. A House Divided.

About Me
Married no children love cats and Military History. Devout Catholic. Worked for the Government for over 27 years. Served 12 years in the U.S. Army Reserve. Honorably Discharged in May 1987 at the rank of Captain. Presently employed with the Gov't. Will be retiring soon 12/31/19 last day in the office.
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
Military history, Religion, spiritual interests, Reading the "Grand Strategy of the Byzantine Empire by Edward Luttwak. Fascinated by Military History and the terrible historical fact that Mankind since civilization began /generates/begets armed conflicts/wars on an almost continuous scale. Especially modern 20th Century Military History which involves such mass destruction and loss of human life. How can we justify this terrible fact.

Welcome to the CONSIMWORLD Social Website, Danny!  From the looks of it, you seem to be a huge fan of strategic WWII in Europe wargames!  WiF is, of course, exceptional and WAR BETWEEN THE STATES is simply the best overall game on the strategic prosecution of the Civil War (not that there's a lot of competition in the monstergame department there!).  Hope you like Luttwak's latest--he's come a long way over the years.
