I land here a lot more often than at the main CSW site, and it would be real nice to have a link back to it prominently displayed on the UI here.Any chance on this?Continue

Curious about this. Previously, I've had group invites that I didn't want to join, but had to join(and be accepted) in order to clear the reminder. Unfortunately, I'm sitting on one for monthsnow,…Continue

I'm planning on running this as a drop-in event, though it would be great if I could get a couple of people
interested in playing at least a couple of days worth of it.
Right now, there are a handful of folk signed up for it - but looking at the list,
I'm guessing most aren't planning on playing for a large part of the con. Spread the
word - this can be a lot of…

We've been doing a set of polls to refight the prior CSR awards.
http://thegamebox.gamesontables.com/index.php?board=88.0
All the prelim threads for the '70's are in place (two expired)
and we've got finals threads for '74 and '75.
Once the 70's are done, if enough folk seem interested,
we'll move on to the 80's. If not, well, maybe we'll try in a…

Went out to play Virgin Queen opposed.
Full table of players. We only got a few turns in
(in many hours), but this is the type of gaming &
group that I should like.
Instead though, I'm just fatigued. Much as from
the couple other times I've done opposed play
in the last couple years (other than with the wife).
Beginning to think that I've just become too asocial to really enjoy anymore.

I suspect most folk here have it all down pretty good,
but someone asked a few questions, and I thought I'd express them:
A couple of hints though (especially if your memory is good).
Take lots of breaks - you can't play interactive games as
quickly as I-go-you-go ones, or you'll remember too much.
Get hooked on the story. For me, even when I'm not taking a
break, I spend some time…

I enjoyed your BGG rant even if I didn't necessarily agree with all of it. Nice to see someone that can swear at my level.
I deleted my account on your new site. I wanted to participate but its to user unfriendly for me.
Adblock and/or turning flash off on the domain is derigor I fear. It may
have been only for a short time, but the ads that the host provides are not
to be trusted. If they can be subverted once, it can happen again.
Ok, the site uses some weird ad providers.
Flash is very easy to abuse, so I'd suggest using adblock or somesuch.
I'm going to try disabling flash on the site as well, but I doubt that will affect the ads they provide.
I've been discussing this with Roger. I don't think there's anything wrong with the site,
after looking at the source code and testing it in my own old version of FF.
It sounds like some sort of clickjacking attack - but I see no sign on the page source,
so it may have been lying latent in his browser. I dunno.
Not wargames, I meant military games, and I have just tried Google Chrome and it was fine. It must be something to do with Firefox, or something looks for Firefox users......
I went onto the site again, which was fine, but when I clicked onto "wargames" I got re-directed onto another website which mentioned about the out of date player www.lpmxp2030.com.
Nasty thing.
I have not tried it on another browser yet, but I will do
Did not mean to alarm, more to warn. I have recently changed to Firefox, and when I went to your new "home", it said my FF video player was needed to be updated. I am normally more cautious about these things, but being new to FF and it's love of add-ons and plug ins I just ok'ed it.....WRONG MOVE.
I got rid of all the crap with Malwarebytes, but it had totally hijacked FF and installed a pile of new programs which needed to be uninstalled.
My bad judgement really as I should know better....ha ha ha
especially Omiga-plus.....what shitty hijack program.
