Well, I started in 1969 with Avalon Hill's 'U-Boat' of all things. Those clever people included a pamphlet with their other titles. Then, it was on to 'Gettysburg', 'Midway', then to SPI titles and the 'rest is history'.

Mr. Madison's War, Saratoga, Wooden Ships and Iron Men, Battle Hymn. Great Campaigns of the Civil War, Empire of the Sun, The U.S. Civil War
