KORSUN POCKET was one of three games that changed the face of WWII Russian Front gaming here in the U.S.  The other two were WHITE DEATH by GDW and STREETS OF STALINGRAD by Phoenix games.  Up until these three titles, wargames on the topic had been, as I am sure you already know, extremely German-centic, reflecting a lot of popular history available in the U.S.  These three games forever changed that and began to incorporate emerging Soviet information and interpretations for a much more balanced treatment.  KORSUN POCKET is my favorite monstergame, followed by the 3d Edition of STREETS OF STALINGRAD.  We'd love to hear what folks in the Russian Federation think of games involving Russia that we play...
