About Me
M.A. in history. Happily retired Federal civil servant after 32 years of doing nothing related to my history studies. Lived most of my adult life in the New Orleans metro area. Looking for Monroe area wargamers to fill in between visits from my buddies from El Dorado, AR. I have time, games and table space. Hope to make it to Bayou Wars and Heat of Battle this year.
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
Strategy/war games on computer.......have played all the Civilization series games (not well). Read world and military history. Always enjoy reading Max Hastings' military histories. Awaiting Atkinson's third volume on US Army in ETO. Read some sci-fi and fantasy......got hooked on Song of Ice and Fire Series and am now awaiting publication of 6th book.

Hey Mike,

Jimmy Eaton here.  Good to see that there is a fellow gamer so close.  Yeah, let's get together for some gaming.  I work in WM on Wed. and Fri. as well as some Sat.s.  I see that PoG is one of your favorites - mine too.  We can try some Cyberboard too.  My email is dre@rustonvisioncenter.com.

I went to Heat of Battle the last couple of years, too.

If you're looking for f2f opponents, I live in El Dorado, which isn't too far away.
