Welcome!

Profile Information

Your introduction to consim gaming:
My first experience with consim gaming was actually the old AH Starship Troopers game. I found it at a local flea market, thought it sounded cool, and brought it home to learn and play it. Later, found Star Fleet Battles in a flea market, and fell in love with that too.

My first historical game was actually World at War: Eisenbach Gap- I had been playing GW games for a while, decided I wanted to try something different, went to boardgamegeek and it was currently the #1 wargame, bought it, loved it, and just kept expanding.
Your favorite game(s):
Twilight Struggle, Any of the Great Battles of History series, World at War: Eisenbach Gap, Napoleon's Triumph, Conflict of Heroes, the ASL Starter Kits.

I generally am interested playing any game out there though!
What game(s) are you currently playing (solitaire, FTF, PBEM, etc.) or wish to play next?
A Thunder Upon the Land (ATO)
What game(s) have you played recently?
For Wargames, I've mostly recently played The Spanish Civil War (GMT), Nuklear Winter '68 (LNL), and Clash of Monarchs (GMT)
In general, how much time do you spend gaming?
Not enough, I get in about 2-3 games a week, and unfortunately not many are wargames.
How big is your game collection?
Over 100 now
Your local game club(s) and/or where you reside (let's network!)
I live in Maryland, and play most of my games at DropZone, Games and Stuff, or Chibi Games.
About Me
Well, I'm a professional computer scientist for the government. I love gaming (obviously), but I'm pretty well-around outside of that. Played football (poorly) in high school, was a ballroom and latin dancer in college, and am willing to try almost anything at least once =).
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
Interests: Any sport that's remotely popular in the US. Cars, computers, military history, many other random things.

Movies: Most sci-fi/fantasy ones.

Shows: Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy, sports.

Books: I'm all over the place.

Music: Pretty diverse. Metal, Rap, Rock, Pop, Latin, Oldies, etc etc
