From my brother who bought me Avalon Hill's Kriegspiel. Several months after that I played my first miniature game--WWII naval, the Battle of the River Plate.

Thanks Ted. That P-51 was providing "ground support" at Omaha/Utah Beach for the annual D-Day Remembrance Weekend in Conneaut, Ohio (NE of Cleveland). The event is held in September so we can have the USNR support for the Landing Craft.
