"Hi Eric, thank you for the hearty welcome. Looking forward to 'reading' what other players think of the old, but classic PB/PL system. A lot of them that input info at BGG, or at the former yahoo groups, are actually the folks…"

Your local game club(s) and/or where you reside (let's network!)
I live in Arcade-Jefferson, Georgia, 15 miles NE of Athens
I was once an avid solitaire gamer, though had a small group of compatriots to war game with when I lived in Texas. Since moving to Georgia, when I married Robin, I was strictly a solitaire gamer until 1-1/2 years ago when I lost my eyesight for good.
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
listen to all sorts of music, depending on my mood, I listen or feel by braille to books of all types, astro-physics, and geology being my favorite subjects, with an occasional ascent into the world of Zane Grey, and Elmer Kelton. When not doing this, I enjoy listening to baseball, the Braves, Cubs, Cardinals, Rangers, Royals, and Astros.

Timothy, welcome to the CONSIMWORLD Social Website. I must say I'm glad to hear that, despite losing your eyesight, you are remaining engaged with the hobby even though you can't play games anymore. I too loved SPI's AIR WAR and J.D. Webster's AIR POWER series--the latter admittedly got me out of the former. These days I occasionally play it but tend towards Ad Astra's BIRDS OF PREY and expansions when I can find someone who likes it. Of course, PB/PL are classics and it would have been nice to have finished your revision of the systems! Hope you'll reminisce here in some of the groups and share your ideas of what can be done with some of the older games!
