When we demoed Night of Man at the World Boardgame Championships, players were especially excited about three aspects of the game.
1. The size of the components. More than a couple of folks asked if this was an enlarged demo version. Nope. The counters really are 1.375" square. Well, except for the Walkers and Kaiju. Over the past year, I have been cruising the wargaming forums at BGG, and taking part in various discussions, I have come across some real know-it-all's who seem to think that their opinion is above and correct over any others.
These opinions can cover how good or bad a game is, a publisher, or a designer. They pound you with all sorts of crap, making you look like you know nothing, and that they are the voice to be believed in.
