Thought I'd start this as I was reading an old post in my "Games We've Let Go Of" discussion group describing some frustrations with tactical game systems regarding play balance. The series under discussion was the Lock 'N Load tactical games. Now, I've played that series too but don't have the experience in it with many other players to talk to the balance issue. But I've played other game systems with other players where it has. Probably the most notable are the PANZERGRENADIER… Continue

Man, I thought this week would have been easier, but no, busy and swamped. So busy I completely forgot to post last week's points results. Notice that only 13 of the top 25 poll ranked teams have enough points to be listed, and the vaunted Florida Gators have only enough points to be number 19 in the list.
Hopefully, I can get the current weeks results done and posted Monday.

Lucky #7 is here! Fall into the season with the latest issue of Line of Fire. And with this issue it’s not only available as a downloadable, but as a hands-on printed magazine! Included in Line of Fire #7 are five new World at War (WaW) scenarios, two of which complete Arrigo Velicogna’s three-part serial WaW modulette, Munich’s Highway; plus two Mark Walker-designed scenarios that take place on a new, and included, 8.5” x 11” Bremerhaven City Map;… Continue

I'm trying to find some information about the manning and equipment of USAF squadrons, both flying and support. I'm working on a game situation, and I've not been able to locate the type of info I've been after. The time frame of the info is not important - I'm just looking for something from which to extrapolate.
If anyone has some links, or printed sources, I'd be grateful.
Barring that, reliable contact info for the USAF Public Affairs might not hurt.
