I have just ordered Battles Magazine #7. I have no idea if they are any good, but I will soon find out.
I have started to put some time into learning how to play this game. Still have a long way to go, but i am starting to get a little familiar with it ( and I mean a little!). There is a surprising amount packed into this game and I have only really scratched the surface of it, and so far i really like it.

I finally broke down and purchased the downloadable version of Midway from HPS last night. I have been messing around with the getting started scenario, which is a hypothetical battle at Wake. As the US you control a group centered on the Saratoga. Last night when I played I managed to lightly damage the Japanese CV, while avoiding their strike due to time running out.
