There are a lot of great and interesting photos posted on this site. I am cursed with a healthy sense of curiosity so I check out a lot of these pictures. And I usually end up learning NOTHING as there is no caption to tell me what the heck I am looking at. You took the time to take the picture, you took more time to post the picture. Could you please take a few more seconds to add a caption to your lovely picture?

I am sure I am not the only one thinking this. There are great photos of monuments, historical sites, battlefields, playtest games in progress, man caves in the making, convention halls full of eager gamers... and a little caption to tell us what/where/when would make all the difference in our comprehension of these images.

Perfect! Now if I can just get Jim to put his captions as captions and not as the photo title I'd be such a happy camper! :0)

"Perhaps fewer photos -- each also then having a more distinct subject matter -- would enable enough time for informative captions."

Fewer pictures? I only post one of every 15 to 20 pictures I take!

Captions?
bah, captions,smaptions.
In my day we didn't need no fancy pants captions, if you didn't see it happen with your own 2 eyes you didn't see it.

Matt, that was a TMI photo for sure!

Kai, my problem is that I load far too many photos with far too little time to add the captions. I do try to have the photo name be descriptive. For the games, if you follow in sequence, the story should become self evident. Think of it as watching a movie just through stills, minus the dialogue : )

It shows you're never too old to stuff a beach towel in your shorts.
