I have some Line of Departure news. As you might have noticed, I published an issue in the spring, and have been working on the next one ever since. Issue 83 is a work in active progress, and currently I'm working on a second review for it, this one on Jack W Greene's Togo. The one on The Day of Waterloo, from Against the Odds, is already done and ready to insert.

2018 was a terrible year for a lot of reasons, including and especially getting anything done on Line of Departure. Besides the normal issues of working multiple jobs, it's no secret that my health went all south. The primary factor in that was my heart, requiring a pacemaker in September. It was kind of urgent, and totally necessary.

I have been been feeling a lot better since then, but it was a bit harder time back than I expected. I was a lot more tired, longer, than I thought I'd be.

My energy level is a lot better now, it's just taken some time to get to this point, and I'll be heading back to the gym, starting next week. Similarly, I'm back in the saddle with Line of Departure, and other wargame ventures.

Now to stay healthy, and stay out of the hospital.

Jim, glad to see you are back in the saddle.  I had some pretty serious health issues as well (just turned 60 this past month on top of that) but have conquered them (for now!).  Looking forward to your next issue whenever you get it out!  In the meantime, I'm sure you'll put your health on a higher priority; I know I have!
