Games you hope to get for Christmas, and my 2014 Resolution (and what is yours if you have one?)

My wife and I went Christmas shopping last Monday. After a successful day of getting all the presents we needed to get, my wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas.

I told her I was happy with Picket Duty as my Christmas present, but she thought this was not enough.

After a lot of thought, I said to her that I cannot think of anything that I need, other than another game that I have really really really wanted for ages, but it was a little pricey.

She said to order it, so I did, and Field Commander Napoleon arrived today, so I have two games to open over Christmas (this does not include Hunters and Where There Is Discord, which should arrive anyday!)

So have you got any games coming to you for Christmas that you know about? If so what are they?

My 2014 resolution is to stop buying games. I have a lot on pre-order, but only a few will happen next year, but I am not counting them as I ordered them this year.

I have come to the conclusion that I really have the games I want, and there is not much else out there that is attractive to me, so I have decided it is time to stop buying and really get my head down and get playing!

I have played a lot this year, but I want to play even more, and to start playing more of the games that I have bought and then left on the shelves collecting dust.

Whether I can ever resist the temptation, remains to be seen....lmao

Do you have a New Years Resolution? If so, do tell!

Oh yea, just to add another resolution. I do plan on getting all of my games out of storage and out so that I can have them more available to play in the new year.

Roger...Love the resolution, so if you don't mind I am going to piggy-back that one. I too have several on pre-order (Normandy '44, Blood and Roses, Hoplite) but want to really get down and play the ones I bought this year.

Christmas is going to bring me Great Pacific War and Island of Death. I might persuade my wife to let me pre-order Decision at Elst for ASL.
