Gazala 1942, Blood and Thunder & Defense of Rorkes Drift - just arrived

I have just received Gazala 1942, Blood and Thunder & Defense of Rorkes Drift. Gazala was bought new, and the other 2 from ebay - and they are unpunched, which is surprising. If anyone out there has ever played these games, please let me know of your thoughts about them, even if it is negative.

Really looking forward to getting my teeth into these games, and hopefully soon I should have some decent free time to play them.

I have had my eye on all 3 games for a while, so when the opportunity came along, I took it.

Thanks for the comment Eric. I wonder if anyone as edited the rules to improve it?

Not a fan of BLOOD AND THUNDER.  It was rushed through development and it shows.  It needs a complete rules rewrite; were that to happen, it might become a decent game.

I look forward to the time when i play it. Blood and Thunder looks like a lovely game to play, and with 8 maps (i think) It certainly looks like a game with lots of scenarios

I will let you know in due course. The map looks rather interesting, as it has small offset maps for locations such as huts and roofs. It also comes with a second game called the Boer War, but it apparently is not so suitable for solo play, but, it can always be "tweaked" to be more suitable.

I'll be interested to hear about the Rorkes Drift game. I always enjoyed the movie Zulu.
