Work continues on the next Line of Departure. Right now, I'm working on an analysis of SPI's Great Battles of the American Civil War game on the Battle of Monocacy, Drive on Washington. This will be joining reviews of Jack Greene's Togo, from the final tranche of Turning Point Simulations titles, The Day of Waterloo.
The elephant in the room of course is COVID-19. As someone approaching the literal drop dead age, and with a couple of preexisting medical conditions, I am being careful, not just for me, but to slow the spread to the even more vulnerable. Yesterday, I made my last trips to the grocery stores for at least two weeks, making sure that my logistical system can stand up to extended social distancing. My plan is to stay in my own house and yard for at least two weeks. I will leave then, as it will be time to stock up on prescription medications. Then I'll came back home and stay there; how long depends on the progress of the virus, and the conditions and restrictions around Western Pennsylvania.
In the meantime, I will not be going to the Post Office in beautiful downtown Gibsonia. So if you'd like to purchase from Line of Departure, please use the PayPal page to do so.
