I have now successfully sold off about 50% of my board wargames and wargame magazines, with the other half due to be sold off in the coming weeks. I will keep a few games and mags, but hopefully the bulk will have been sold. (Flashpoint Golan seems to be one of those games that no one wants :((  )

With the proceeds, I have now expanded my computer wargame library with a number of new purchases, which include Empire & Napoleon Total War and GG World at War: A world divided - which is what I am playing and learning at the moment.

I think I may have to pay Matrix Games a visit and invest in War in the East - it looks a stunning game

Kev -  I am selling most on ebay, some i have done through my website and a couple through BGG. I am not completely leaving the board wargaming scene, as I will retain at most 20 games who's physical map size and hours of play are more suited to my time/space issue.

Peter P - I have seen that one, and it does look rather nice. Matrix have several games which I am interested in, so I will be taking my pick of them soon.

Are you selling most of these on CSW I assume? Sorry to see you divesting. You have /had quiet a nice collection as I recall.

Time and space are the biggest factors of my sell-off. I just cannot find the required time to sit down and play these games, and since I play solo all the time, the games tend to last a lot longer, which is where the space part come into it. Having games set up for a long period of time is asking for disaster in my house.

I will be keeping some of my games, but 90% will be sold off. PC wargaming is more suited for my current (and foreseeable) lifestyle

Good luck in your new venture. I do understand. I'm selling a prize, premium, semi-monster game and buying games that are of more moderate length. There are good things about 30 hour wargames but as I get older, shorter appeals to me.
