Some of the guys asked me last night if I would be interested in doing a live vassal OCS tutorial. I think it would be a blast and maybe even worth doing more than once.
How many of you would be interested?

there is also Spring Break to factor in.
I think we have a dozen folks interested give it might take a few weeks to organize a time and a plan what content is presented, what does every one think about planning a time soon for say mid/late march?
Absolutely!!!
Thanks Max!
I just wanted to say that I am very interested in the tutorial idea. You have my support. Let me know what I can do to help out.
Lets see how many of you are interested and we will figure out a time and format. If you don't know how to use vassal, definitely tune in, I'll help you with that to. Its fairly easy and intuitive.
If they use Vassal, there really isn't much the observers need to learn. Except how to log on and sync with the host (a few clicks).
Sure, getting familiar with the specific Vassal module before will be really helpful if you want to look up any charts/tables during the demonstration.
But it's no big deal (IMO) to just log on, sync and sit back to watch.
I don't know any of the OCS modules so maybe there is more to them.
Even a vassal LOG file, with commentary, would be helpful.
I think we could do a skype session or I could setup a vent server. I hope to record the session and edit the thing and provide it back to the experts for comments and additional notes. Bill, Jim and some others have been very gracious to accept the opportunity to share their knowledge.
What dates work for Bill and Jim in March?
What would we cover first?
What should people do to prepare to get the most out of the system, besides read the rules!?
Yes, also interested in a tutorial to OCS using vassal
