Spearpoint 1943 (WWII Card Wargame) Released and Available Worldwide

Launched at Origins 2010, Frontline General: Spearpoint 1943 is available worldwide in local game stores and online. I'd like to thank our Consimworld supporters for your interest and support of the game. Also, if you are one of the many gamers who stopped by at Origins, thanks for taking the time to chat with me and find out more about our games or even run through a demo or two.

Spearpoint 1943 is my second game- so far, players and critics are receiving it well and are enjoying the quick, tense, and fun aspects of the game. Each game takes about 30 minutes and provides a lot of tension, decisions, and fun, with combat between air and land units the main focus. Standard games simulate meeting engagements while Situation games provide objective-based scenarios. Eight Situations are currently available online for free with more on the way. If you're unfamiliar with this title, I encourage you to check out the info page, then browse the downloads page to grab the rules, suggested decks, and situations.

If you run into any questions, you'll be glad to know that I fully and quickly support the game via e-mail, CSW, and BGG.

You can find Spearpoint 1943 through a variety of online and brick-and-mortar retailers, or even direct through Collins Epic Wargames.

Components (all very high quality, Full Color)

Suggested MSRP: $29.95.

Carlos, thanks for your work on a Portuguese translation. As far as image use, sure, you can use the images in the rules- but please credit us as follows: "Images Copyright 2010 Collins Epic Wargames. Used with permission." You can send me the text if you'd like, in a word file, and I can try to format it accordingly, or you can play around with it and use the images from the rules you requested. Either way.

We're doing a free shipping offer (good worldwide) for Spearpoint 1943 orders right now through Sept 3rd 2010!

Byron,

Basic translation finished, I have just to reread to see if something if patently wrong, in Portuguese, and find 2 terms I'm not satisfied with for the translation,, and the text will be done.

Can I use the images from the downloaded rulebook in the Portuguese language files ?

What do you want me to do, send you just the text when ready (almost ready), or the final file with the images (will take some time). ?

Carlos...

Biron,

It will be a lot faster, I already downloaded the rules using the link above, I expect to start translating next weekend. The downside is that I will not have the game to play and understand it better, but by what I saw, it will not be a problem.

Ok, then. As soon as the game reach my hands I'll translate the rules. Buy next month, at least 2 to 3 weeks in transit, then one or two days translating, so, by mid September I should have the translation file ready.

Carlos, sure, no problem at all. Thanks.

Byron,

Do you mind if I translate the rules to Portuguese and post them in BGG ? I'm in the middle of a lot of rules translations, but a 2 page rule set will receive priority :)

I'll send the translated file to you, too, so if there's interest you can make them available, of course.

"Carlos, Understandable. I hate it when taxes and such beyond our control make it difficult to buy what you want."

Byron,

That's the way things are, I'm ok with that.

Besides, I have a small chance of not being taxed, it does occur some times, on rare occasions, it depends on the mood of the tax inspector. Next month I'll order it.
