In it was a jan-june 1973 spi catalog. i did not know that spi was able to sell the games they helped develop that where made by AHILL !?! PANZERBLITZ,THE AH VERSION OF FRANCE 1940, ORIGINS and DIPLOMACY!!! i would love to know the payment/royalty plan on these. also there is an ad that says lifetime subscription to s&t!!! does descision games still honor that from 1973!????!!!

A great flick. After all these years Oddball and Crapgame can still make me laugh... I agree, it would have taken serious cajones to take on a Tiger.

yep me to- got a copy og SQLDR will soon try to get COI-My favorite! and may get the final 2. i use RETRO rules from minden games-it has a basic set and you can add any "extra" rules ya want. has an interesting "hesitation" rule that i like and have modified- a squad of dog faced grunts would NOT just run up to a tigerII ! lol if you watch Kelly's heroes they talk about Tiger's as if they were dragons!!! "you didn't tell me they had Tiger's!?!!!" lol

$175.00 on a $10.00 investment; not a bad return! A few years ago I gave away all my ASL gear and just kept SL, CoI, CoD & GI: AoV. I find the older I get the more 'rules lite' appeals to me (with all due respect to Ole Grumpy, wherever he is...).

Yes, TRACTICS was the set written by Gygax. The rules seemed horribly complex bitd; not so bad now after trying to wrap my brain around ASL!

ALNAVCO.com, Brian; they have secure online ordering. I was looking at the micro armor this morning, thinking I might order some and dust off my old copy of TRACTICS... My original set of GHQ minis went MIA when I mustered out of the Corps in '88; I have no earthly idea what happened to them!
