I have a BA in Business Administration from Washington State University. Currently employed in the field of investment services and financial planning.
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
Besides gaming, my other interests include music. My tastes range from classic rock, to metal, hardcore, and alternative mostly. I'm also a film buff and have an extensive DVD library. The main area of focus is European cult cinema from the 60s and 70s, but the collection spans a wide selection of genres.

I got together with Ryan from Everett (from the WA group) this past weekend and had a great time playing. (He was in town visiting family but graciously came over and played!) He had played through several scenarios solo, but only previously with another opponent. Playing it, I got a much better idea how the whole system works. It was fun, but being the Russians is frustrating! Version 1.1 is the current rule set. I have a crazy busy stretch (every night for the next week or so!) but maybe we can get together weekend after this one! I really want to play again before I lose it all!

Hey Dave,
I mostly play euros with people from my church; there's a solid group there but we never get together as much as we'd like.
I got Memoir 44 for Christmas and have played a lot with my brother in law (who lives in my apartment complex). Its simple, quick and engaging. I had been looking at top war games for quite a while and Combat Commander (for better or worse) had always been mentioned as a step up from Memoir 44. So I bought it (and some expansions...too much, really, to get started.)
You can download the rules from GMT. It'd be great to get together and give it a run through! I hear the rules are written really well, but I haven't gotten a solid feel for it yet. From looking at your game room, the rules should be a cinch for you! Let me know!

Thanks Dave. One of the best things for my listening has been buying a new car - it came with XM Radio, and the Liquid Metal channel. Given Clear Channel, I'd never have heard of any of those bands, but now I listen to a lot of better stuff.
